Founded in 1992 by David de Gourcuff, Fonderie Fusions has grown international recognition over the past three decades for its rarefied level of expertise and the time-honored techniques its team of 35 master craftsmen continue to perpetuate. Artists and designers from around the world would involve Gourcuff and his team along the creative development process from the original work through to the casted sculpture.

Specializing in the lost-wax casting techniques, the Auvergne, France-based foundry was awarded the “Enterprise du Patrimoine Vivant” title bestowed by the French Ministry of Trade and Industry, which acknowledges an atelier’s commitment to preserving and carrying-on the ongoing cultural heritage of the country. In 2017, Fusions founder David de Gourcuff was individually awarded the Bettencourt-Schueller Foundation’s prestigious Liliane Bettencourt Prize of “L’Intelligence de la Main” –The Hands’ Intelligence —.
