Founded in 1882, Wiener Silber Manufactur originally produced the silver dining and serving sets of the Hapsburg Royal Palaces. The revered silversmiths of Vienna was quickly influenced by the early modernists during Austria Secessionism. With extensive collaborations with Josef Hoffmann, Otto Prutscher and Kolo Moser, the manufacturers count some of the most iconic Wiener Werkstätte designs among their archives.
In Fall 2016, Les Ateliers Courbet presents Wiener Silber Manufactur's very first US retrospective including some of these iconic silver pieces and latest collaborations with designers including Zaha Hadid, Tomás Alonso and Ted Muehling.
