The Tonus Series belongs to the permanent collections of Centre Georges Pompidou, Centre National des Arts Plastiques in Paris, Vitra Museum, the Zuiderzeemuseum Enkhuizen and the Design Museum of Gent. 

The miniature bronze tonus stool is a beautiful and sculptural piece making the Tonus collection one comprehensive body of work exploring Aldo’s design in a range of material and finishes involving a complete scope of craftsmanship representative of Netherlands cultural heritage.

Centuries old bell foundry, Royal Eijsbouts was founded in 1872 by Bonaventura Eijsbouts as a factory for tower clocks. The company has grown a steady and international recognition for the technical innovations that they have developed and applied to their bell casting craft through the years. Their workshop is hired for carillons and church bells until today. In 2006 Eijsbouts cast the largest swinging bell in the world.
