JONATHAN HANSEN has been designing and fabricating furniture and objects since 2001.
He has created collections for Ralph Rucci, Thom Browne, Baccarat, Samsonite, Lisa Perry, Aerin Lauder, L’Objet, Fortuny, and Peugeot, as well as individual objects for collectors. Jonathan’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Vogue, The New York Times, Surface, Harper’s Bazaar, Wallpaper, and Vogue Germany. Born in the United States, Jonathan grew up in Canada, England, and Singapore.
Post College he studied eighteenth and nineteenth-century furniture at the North Bennet Street School in Boston. The foundation of this classically focused program and craftsman training continues to inform the contemporary trajectory on which his work is concentrated.
