Argentinian designer, Josefina Munoz has always been interested in the relationship between traditional craftsmanship and design. She leaves her native country after graduating in Design with a Master of Advanced Studies and move to Geneva, Switzerland where she pursues her design research and work today.
Munoz’s personal work results from her close collaborations with the local artisans. She would search the particularities in each artisan’s set of expertises and unleash a new world of artistic expressions with them.
Her work has been featured at the Milan Design Week in numerous occasions, was included in “Des Mains de Maîtres” Exhibition in Luxembourg (2016), as well as the London Design Festival at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Josefina is currently working with marble, glass and textile projects.
